Doordash was taken to court over this and lost. Despite what certain people continue to say in this thread, a judge deemed that since Dashers were independent contractors, you cannot be deactivated because of a low acceptance rate. Once you accept a dash though, you've entered a contract to deliver to their standards. The Acceptance Rate is the percent of times a Dasher accepts a delivery that is offered to him or her through the app. Before a Dasher decides whether to accept a delivery opportunity, the Dasher app provides a number of key facts about the order including the name of the merchant, the destination of the delivery and pay for the order.
